  • Through the Glass

I don’t make a practice of participating in the weekly photo challenge (let’s face it, I haven’t been participating in much of anything on Xanga lately), but I was intrigued by this week’s subject, “Through the Glass”.  Also, the kids are home from school today (President’s Day) so I am home with them, it is frigidly cold outside, so I don’t particularly want to go outdoors, but I have a new camera to play with (one with an 18x optical zoom, woo hoo!).  So in playing around with the camera this morning, this is what I came up with:

  • Gads, look at the snow you have!  I’m so sorry.

  • @CndFrnd - I don’t mind the snow — and it’s nothing like some of our friends in Iowa ot Wisconsin have this winter!  It’s wierd, all the snow that we usually get in Minnesota is going south and east of us!

  • I love the one of the chickadee in the branches of what looks like a crab-apple (the first picture you have posted).  It reminds me of the chickadee I heard the other day just singing his heart out.

I would love to be able to get my camera out and play with it some.  It’s an SLR, but it is not digitial.  I’m still waiting to get one of those.
